The Funance skill card · card I of I
The Five Minutes.
Every room in Funance, open for five minutes, free. Long enough to drop a real file, walk every room, and watch a term end — on your own books, which stay.
- $0
- 5 MINUTES
- EVERY ROOM
- NOTHING AUTO-RENEWS
For seeing the whole instrument before you take a term, and for seeing exactly what the end of a term looks like.
The window
Five minutes, counted from the moment the key is issued.
A term is a window, not a balance. Each key counts its time from issue, whether you open the app or not, and a new key replaces the one you hold. Nothing auto-renews; there is nothing to cancel.
Take it for $0. Your five-minute key lands in the download hub and your email; paste it once and the clock starts.
On the second, the seven term rooms lock — exactly as they do when any term ends. Every line you entered stays.
opens them again — each key is its own five. More cards open after the test; the Board Room hears first.
The card you hold
The licence, drawn.
When you take this term, a key lands in your download hub and your email. This is that key made visible: the seat, the licence number in four groups, the date it was issued, the date it is good thru, the editions it carries, the term. The chip is the fingerprint of the signed licence — change one character of the key and the pattern changes.
It is issued with the term and never sold, it opens the skill card, and it is not a card you pay with — it says so on its face. When the term ends, GOOD THRU freezes the rooms and never the file.
What the card opens
Every room. Twelve of them.
Photographs of the app, not drawings. Seven rooms open with this card; five are the floor, open on every tier and still open after the term ends.
The seven this card opens
ON THE SECOND THE KEY IS PASTED
Money in, money out, wired straight to the ledger. Create an invoice; mark it paid and the revenue posts itself. Track a bill; mark it paid and the expense posts itself. Recurring charges post every month. Payroll is recorded from your provider, never run here.

Investment accounts, balance-tracked rather than tick-tracked, per entity. Portfolio value feeds net worth; runway stays on operating cash, so a good quarter in the market never disguises a bad one in the business.

What if, modelled across the whole portfolio. Move the revenue and expense levers, add hires at a cost, pick the entities, and read cash, burn, runway and set-aside side by side — actual against scenario.

The quarterly set-aside, combined across every entity at the blended rate you set. The mileage log. The estimated-payments log. Worksheets your CPA files from — never filed forms, never tax advice.

The same set of documents every month: pick the period, the entities and the documents, build the pack as one PDF with the CSVs beside it, draft the email to your accountant, and save the selection so next month is one tap.

Ask for the words. Pick a task or type what you need — plain and direct, warm, formal or firm — written on your own Anthropic key from only the totals and lines you tick. Copy it, open it in email, or print it to PDF.

Bring your own everything. The guide to every bank download, Shopify payouts split into the sale and the fee, a screenshot of your banking app — and the Anthropic key that lets your Claude read receipts and statements, stored only in this browser, sent only to Anthropic. Optional SimpleFIN sync; never a credential handed to us.
The floor — yours on every tier
NEVER LOCKS
Every entity, every dollar, one screen: total cash, portfolio value, net worth, monthly burn over the trailing ninety days, runway in months, the next set-aside and its date — a cash bar by entity, and the review bin waiting on you.

Every line, dated, tagged by entity and category, editable in place. Filter to one entity, the review bin or transfers; type a line straight in; export it as CSV. Route a line by hand once and Funance remembers the merchant.

Drop anything money-shaped: a bank download (OFX, QFX, QBO or CSV), a Shopify payout file, a typed sentence. Every line is tagged source, entity, category and tax treatment; anything under 80% confidence waits in Review. Receipt photos and statement PDFs are read by your own Claude, on the key kept in Connections.

The numbers every way an accountant reads them: profit and loss, the monthly spread, balances and due-to/due-from, general ledger detail, transfers and loans, owner draws and distributions, vendor spend. Any period. Export CSV or print.

Your entities, each with its own type and blended tax rate: LLC, S-corp, nonprofit, department, program, grant, project, classroom, trust, personal. The vault export — your backup and your moving truck — the Accountant Pack CSVs, and the handoff: hand a bookkeeper a copy, merge their file back, see every change before you accept it.
How it gets the job done
Three real days.
Minute one.
Paste the key. Drop a bank download on the Drop tab: the lines stage on your machine, you route two by hand, and Funance remembers the merchants.
Minute three.
Open Invoices & Bills, Portfolio, Scenarios, Tax, the Monthly Pack and the Desk on the books you just started. Build one pack.
Minute five.
Watch the bar reach 0:00. The paid rooms lock the way they will at the end of any term; nothing you entered is lost. Take another five minutes.
What the card tells your AI
The face, read out.
A skill card is a file you hand your AI that teaches it one job, well. The card at the top of this page is that file drawn so a person can read it: when it wakes, the moves it makes, the lines it will not cross. Here is what it says.
The user keeps books for one business or many — a company, a side business, a nonprofit, a rental, freelance clients, a personal account.
- Tax, legal or financial advice — it says so instead.
- Any bank login, credential or connection.
- Another person’s books without their say.
- Read the receipt, the CSV or the plain sentence the user gives you; name the entity.
- Route the line into the ledger the user keeps in Funance; never invent an amount.
- When asked what to do, answer from the ledger — what is owed, what is due.
- Keep every file on the user’s machine; export what they ask for as a real file.
FUNANCE-E1.html — the app. The same file on every tier; the key decides what opens.
The dotted block is the first 96 bits of the sha256 of SKILL.md, drawn as holes. Change one letter of the file and the pattern changes, so the face you read is the file your AI got. The format is open and printed: THE SKILL CARD FORMAT · LSC-1, from Lund Studio.

- A pause button. Five minutes is five minutes from the moment the key is issued, whether you open the app or not.
- Anything hidden. It is the same app, the same books and the same lock everyone gets — a five-minute key, not a separate build.
- An email at the $0 checkout — the key lands in your download hub and your inbox.
- Your own Anthropic API key for the Claude rooms, if you want them in your five minutes; every other room opens without it.
$0 — five minutes, free.
Instant. The app and your five-minute key wait in your download hub the moment checkout completes, and the email carries the key.
Nothing to refund; the five minutes cost nothing.
Sold as is under the term printed; Lund Studio is not a CPA, accountant, attorney, adviser or fiduciary; not tax, legal or financial advice; the card instructs an AI you operate. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic; Lund Studio is not affiliated with Anthropic.
Questions
Asked and answered.
Why five minutes?
Because five minutes with every room on your own file tells you more than an hour of a demo — and because the end of a term is the one thing no screenshot can show you. You watch it happen.
Can I take it again?
Yes. Each five-minute key is its own five minutes from the moment it is issued. Take another; nothing you entered in the first is lost.
What happens at 5:00?
The seven term rooms lock on the second: Invoices & Bills, Portfolio, Scenarios, Tax, the Monthly Pack, the Desk and Connections. The ledger, the drop, reports and settings stay open on your machine with everything you entered.
Is anything deleted?
No. Nothing in Funance deletes your lines — not at 5:00, not at the end of a year. A term opens rooms; it never owns your books.
Is the app free after the five minutes?
The rooms are what you pay for, and they close at 5:00. What stays open is the floor — your ledger, your drop, your reports — so nothing you entered is stranded. After the five minutes: another five, as many times as you like while the test runs; the longer cards open after it.
