These terms govern every purchase and download from funance.tech. Lund Studio LLC, Westminster, Colorado.
A licence to use the files in the package you paid for — the app, and on the Year the Funance Skill Card — under the term printed. Authorship and copyright stay with Lund Studio LLC. No resale, no redistribution, no sublicence; one seat is one person unless the licence names more.
A term opens the paid rooms of Funance for its window — five minutes, free; the first week, free once per person; the month; the year (during the test only the Five Minutes is on sale). Your key is issued to your account and verified on your machine; nothing phones home. When the window closes, the paid rooms close and the floor — the ledger, the drop, reports and settings, with everything you entered — stays yours on your machine. Nothing auto-renews and nothing stacks: a new key replaces the one you hold and counts from the moment it is issued. The Month and the Year are one purchase each; editions issued inside a window replace the file. All sales are final: the Five Minutes is the trial, and a key cannot be recalled once it is issued. A chargeback ends the licence at that moment. Statutory withdrawal rights apply as your law provides.
Lund Studio LLC is a software studio, not a CPA firm, accountant, enrolled agent, tax preparer, attorney, investment adviser, broker, bank or fiduciary, and is registered with no accounting board, bar or financial regulator. Funance produces estimates and worksheets from your entries; it does not file anything. Confirm figures with a professional before you rely on them; you are responsible for your books and your filings.
The app runs in your browser and keeps your books on your machine. The studio never asks for a bank login and holds none of your ledger. Back up your files; the studio cannot restore what only you hold.
The Funance Skill Card instructs an AI you operate. The studio does not run the AI or see your prompts; results depend on the model, the host, your inputs and your judgement. Review every entry before you post it. The studio has run the card in Claude; other hosts are used at your discretion.
Statements about other products describe the subscription model as a category or cite the other company’s own published pricing on the date shown. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.; Claude of Anthropic; ChatGPT of OpenAI. No affiliation or endorsement.
The files are provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law will not let us exclude. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the package concerned and excludes indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Packages are delivered digitally the moment checkout completes, from your download hub and your order email; nothing ships. There are no refunds — the Five Minutes is the trial, and a key cannot be recalled once issued. Statutory withdrawal rights apply as your law provides. Shopify hosts the store and checkout and its privacy policy governs what it collects; the studio keeps your order record and email to deliver editions and answer you, nothing else.

Use the files and the site lawfully and for their purpose — keeping books you own or are authorised to keep. Do not use them to keep another person's books without consent, to evade tax, to launder money, to infringe anyone's rights, to probe or attack the site, the workers or the store, or to build or train a competing product on their design. We may end a licence and refuse future sales to anyone who does.
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. If you buy for an entity, you confirm you may bind it.
These terms are dated and versioned (v2026.09.05). A change is a new date and applies to purchases after it; the version in force for your purchase is the one dated on the day of your order. These terms, the licence, the store's policies and the disclosures page are the whole agreement and replace anything earlier. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stands. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
Write to us first: hello@lundstudio.co, and we will try to settle it in writing within thirty days. Failing that, disputes are brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Colorado under Colorado and United States law, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek an injunction anywhere to protect intellectual property. Nothing here removes rights your own law gives you that cannot be waived.
Buying the six months or a term of THE SCHOOL buys a school key, the six-month file, the Teacher Card and the record described on the programme page. THE SCHOOL is not a CPA programme, is not accredited, and grants no licence, credit or credential of any kind; the seat is a record of work and says so on its face. The tutor is an AI that runs on your own key under your own account with its provider, whose terms govern that use; its grading is an assessment of the work you submit, never tax, legal, investment or financial advice, and §3 applies to everything it says. A seal is the studio's signed record that a named person read your term check on a date; it can be verified by anyone at the seat page, never expires, and the studio may decline to seal work that advises the student on their own affairs or that cannot be traced to a ledger. A cohort code from an institution issues one seat key per email; a record sent to an institution's gradebook carries scores and fingerprints only, never your text. No refunds — weeks 1 and 2 are free so the level can be judged first. §2, §7 and §8 apply to the school as they apply to the app.
