Your books never come to us
Funance is one file that runs in your browser on your machine. Your ledger, your entries, your files and your exports stay there. Lund Studio LLC has no server that holds them and no way to see them. This is a design decision and the first line of every promise on the site.
What we collect, and why
When you buy: the order record Shopify creates — your name, email, what you bought, when, and the payment status — so we can deliver your key and editions and answer you. We write your term key to your order so your download hub and your order email can show it. If you join the Board Room: your email and a tag that says so. If you write to us: your message. If you pay in bitcoin: the invoice steps and the public transaction, in a witness record kept with the order. Nothing else — no analytics profile, no advertising identifier, no purchase of data about you.
What we never ask for
A bank login, a credential, a connection to your accounts, a Social Security number, a tax identification number, or a copy of a return. Funance reads the files you download from your bank yourself.
Your AI
The Claude rooms and the Funance Skill Card send what you choose — an image, a statement, the lines and category names your ledger uses — to Anthropic on your own API key, under your own agreement with Anthropic and its privacy policy. We are not in that path and do not see it. Remove the key from Connections and nothing leaves your machine.
How long
Order records for as long as tax and accounting law require us to keep them, then deleted. Board Room emails until you leave. Keys and witness records for the life of the order record.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it; write to hello@lundstudio.co and we act within thirty days. Deleting your record does not touch your key on your machine or your books, which were always yours. Where your state or country gives you further rights — Colorado, California, the EU and the UK among them — you have them, and the same email exercises them. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that score; a "Your Privacy Choices" request is honoured by the same email.
Children
The store and the app are for adults keeping books. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has bought a card, write to us and we will delete the record.
Security
The store and checkout are Shopify's, under their security programme. Keys are signed offline with a key that never touches a server. The delivery worker holds order ids and keys, nothing more. Your books are not on any server to breach. If you find a weakness in anything of ours, see the security notice on the Notices page.
